Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant

We are looking for a bookkeeper to join our team! This is a part-time position now, but could become a full-time position with the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and computer input to prepare client financial statements
  • Computation of payroll checks, submission of payroll tax deposits, and preparation of payroll tax returns
  • Preparation of FL sales tax returns
  • Organization of client tax data
  • Administrative and file maintenance duties
  • Preparation of personal income tax returns

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing a must
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Tax preparation experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and good people-skills
  • Willingness to learn and to adapt
  • Respect and adherence for confidentiality
